What do podiatrists do?

According to the Australasian Podiatry Council (www.apodc.com.au), ' a podiatrist works to improve mobility and enhance the independence of individuals by the prevention and management of pathological foot problems and associated morbidity. This can be achieved by providing advice on foot health, assessment and diagnosis of foot pathology, identification of treatment options.

Our podiatrists are highly skilled professionals, trained in the branch of medicine known as podiatry or podiatric medicine. These health professionals are devoted to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of medical and surgical conditions of the feet, ankles and lower limbs.

Both Hollie and Luke have university bachelor degrees in applied science (podiatry) and are in the forefront continually upgrading their skills and knowledge through further training and continual education to maintain their accreditation in the profession.
